Parker and Castle Rock Center for Audiology is a fullservice, private-practice audiology clinic, providing complete diagnostic and rehabilitative services to patients of all ages. Parker Center for Audiology was founded in 1994 by Linda D. Baker, Au.D., and has been serving Parker and surrounding areas for 14 years. The Castle Rock office was opened in 1998 for the convenience of our growing number of patients in Castle Rock.

Our patients typically find us through the referral of a physician, medical professional or a satisfied patient. We appreciate the confidence you have demonstrated in our practice by selecting us for your hearing healthcare needs, and we look forward to serving you in the near future!

The members of our professional staff are university trained and hold doctoral degrees in Audiology, which makes our practice uniquely qualified to diagnose and treat hearing loss. With over forty-five years of combined experience, we possess the knowledge and ability to find the optimum solution to match each patient’s needs, lifestyle and budget.

Dr. Baker has a rich history in the field of Audiology.  She obtained her Masters of Audiology in 1973 from North Texas State University, and quickly garnered significant clinical and research accolades during her tenure as an instructor and clinical supervisor at the University of Texas and University of New Mexico.  She went on to private practice, founded the Santa Fe Center for Audiology, and served as President of the New Mexico Speech-Language and Hearing Association.  Dr. Baker also utilized her extensive pediatric experience to create the UNM and St. Vincent Hospital Early Identification Program for hearing loss in newborns.  She moved to Colorado, founded the Parker Center for Audiology in 1995, and obtained her doctorate in Audiology.  Dr. Baker is married with two daughters, enjoys work, spending time with family and travel

 

Erin Carwin, Au.D.

Dr. Carwin obtained her B.S. and her M.S. in Audiology at the University of Wyoming, and quickly immersed herself in private-practice as a clinical Audiologist at Colorado Otolaryngology and Associates.  After three years, she moved on to Newport Audiology.  While there, she pursued her Doctorate of Audiology from Pennsylvania College of Optometry and Audiology.  In addition to her clinical duties, she assumed a significant number of important professional responsibilities including physician education, recruitment and training of clinical staff, and supervisor of customer service.   Her experience at Newport Audiology culminated as Corporate Vice-President, Clinical Operations.  Dr. Carwin is married and enjoys the company of her Cairn Terrier, Lucy.  She enjoys skiing, hiking and travel. 

 

Erin Davlin, Au.D.

Dr. Davlin recently joined the practice after graduating first in her class from her doctoral program at the Ohio University School of Audiology.  Dr. Davlin completed her undergraduate degree with honors (Magna Cum Laude) from Truman State University, with a B.S. in Communication Disorders, and a GPA of 3.8.  She completed an impressive number of clinical rotations in both private-practice and university settings, and made significant research-oriented contributions as an assistant in the Auditory Psychophysics and Signal Processing Lab at Ohio University.   Dr. Davlin also completed a comprehensive rotation at the St. Joseph’s Institute for the Deaf in Chesterfield, MO, with particular focus on cochlear implant mapping for the pediatric population.  She is actively engaged in professional membership with the American Academy of Audiology, and the Academy of Doctors of Audiology.  Outside of work, Dr. Davlin enjoys running, skiing and the “Colorado outdoors.” 

 

Our Staff

Sharon is our Patient Care Coordinator for our Parker office. She has over 25 years of experience working in the medical and dental fields. We've received many compliments about her positive attitude and she makes helping our patients her top priority. Sharon and her family have been residents of Parker since 1997 and greatly enjoy the outdoors of Colorado.

Jan is our Patient Care Coordinator and Manager for the Castle Rock office. She is the first person you encounter in Castle Rock and is a cheerful and friendly introduction to your hearing care experience. She has worked in the health care field for more than 7 years and enjoys her contact with each patient. She resides east of Castle Rock with her husband and two cats.
